On this cover of the classic Django Reinhardt , Minor Swing song I try to give this Jazz swing jazz "feel". Hope I succeeded it.....keep swinging:).
"Minor Swing" is a gypsy jazz tune composed by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli. It was recorded by The Quintet of the Hot Club of France in 1937. It was recorded five other times throughout Reinhardt's career and is considered to be one of his signature compositions.
Swing music, or simply swing, is a form of popular jazz music developed in the United States that dominated in the 1930s and 1940s. The name swing came from the 'swing feel' where the emphasis is on the off–beat or weaker pulse in the music.
