Hope in Action, Africa in Motion 🌍 Day 3 recap!

Описание: The final day of the Africa & Beyond Student Conference 2025 was a powerful culmination of everything we stand for: experiential learning, cultural pride, creativity, and action.

Students and teachers were divided into three dynamic off-site experiences, each aligned to one of the conference’s pillars—Creative Arts, Culture, and Service:

🎭 At Jukwaa Arts, students unleashed their creativity through spontaneous open mic sessions, live art creation, and dialogue about the transformative power of African creative industries.
🪘 At Asili Ya Afrika, the rhythm of Mijikenda music and cultural dance filled the air, inviting students into an immersive exchange rooted in heritage, unity, and expression.
🌱 At Big Ship, students planted mangroves, explored nursery management, and walked away with muddy shoes and clean hearts—embodying environmental stewardship and youth-led service.

We wrapped up this unforgettable journey with a heartfelt closing ceremony at the Academy:
•Our Guest Speaker, DP2 student Alyfiya Karani captivated us with a spoken-word style speech on Hope through Color, tracing her personal growth and purpose.
•Our Keynote Speaker, Mrs. Fidelis Nthenge, Director of Curriculum Development from International Baccalaureate inspired us with five clear steps to act, build, and grow—reminding us that youth agency is not a future concept; it’s a now movement.
•We celebrated through powerful student performances, honored every delegate with certificates, and closed with gratitude from our Senior School Principal, Mr. Francis Kariuki.

What a conference. What a moment. What a movement.

Africa has spoken. Hope is in motion. And it is student-led!!
