Описание: Paul uses the metaphor of fragrance to describe how believers impact others spiritually. Just as Roman victory processions filled cities with incense that smelled like triumph to citizens but defeat to captives, our lives emit a Gospel aroma that attracts some while repelling others. To those being saved, our spiritual fragrance is sweet and life-giving, drawing them toward Christ's forgiveness and freedom. To those who are perishing, the same fragrance is offensive. The potency of our Gospel scent is measured by the reactions it produces - if we're getting neither positive nor negative responses, we may have lost our spiritual fragrance entirely.
