A Blustery Hike to Cautley Spout I Exploring Beautiful Sedbergh in the Yorkshire Dales National Park

Описание: Join us as we explore the small town of Sedbergh with a personality so big it encompasses the Yorkshire Dales, Cumbria and Lancashire! (Yes, we were confused too! 🤦🏻‍♀️) Check out Sedbergh school – founded in 1525!! 👩🏻‍🎓

After our little walk through “England’s Book Town” we had a fantastic but windy walk up to the mighty “Cautley Spout,” England’s highest waterfall above ground. The drop of the falls is just under 200 metres (that’s 650 feet!) down several cascades of this glacial cliff. The source of the falls is called “Swere Gill” and it streams down through these Howgill Hills into the nearby River Rawthey (spoiler alert: where we saw yet another Dipper!)

We hope you enjoy the selection of sheep throughout our little video and appreciate that the wind was just too strong for us to attempt to climb top the top.
