Providing insight into the production facility, Gülezler Metal's Senior Production Supervisor and Mechanical Engineer Mr. Eyüp Kot, stated:

“We have three FICEP models in our facility: VALIANT, KATANA and GEMINI. With our VALIANT model, we perform hole drilling, countersinking, tapping, milling, pocketing, and marking operations. The products we manufacture are produced with millimeter precision thanks also to the FICEP CNC unit. We can process all three axes of the material simultaneously.
Our VALIANT primarily saves us time, as we no longer need to transfer products between different machines, all operations are carried out with precision on a single machine. Once these processes are completed, we move to KATANA for the final band sawing, making the product ready for dispatch.”

Highlighting that another key machine in Gülezler Group's machinery lineup is the FICEP GEMINI, Mr. Kot stated: “GEMINI is a plate drilling and thermal cutting machine, that allows us to perform drilling on plates.
The machines available in the market only perform plasma and oxygen cutting. Here, with the help of a 3-axis CNC unit, we can perform cold drilling on the plates, that prevents material deformation, which is one of the most important features our customers seek. Standard machines drill holes using heat treatment, which leads to deformation over time, but with cold drilling, we eliminate this issue. Additionally, we can carry out various operations such as milling, marking, countersinking, and tapping on plates ranging from 5 mm to 80 mm in thickness. This enables us to work with a wide range of standard plates.”

Mr. Kot further emphasized that, thanks to their quality control processes, the parts they produce fully comply with the standards set by their customers.

Mr. Nazmi Gülez, Deputy General Manager, shared details about the solutions implemented to always have their machines fully available, in order to quickly respond their customer demands.

He said: “We established corporate communication through ERFAB. From the moment our machines were installed, we always receive prompt responses, and our problems are solved quickly.”
