Dublin is home to many historic and religious buildings, but Whitefriar Street Carmelite Church, also known as Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, is often overlooked as many do not know that inside this beautiful church are the remains of Saint Valenine, where he is visited regularly in the hope of interceding in prayer requests for newly engaged and married couples, those looking for love and those looking to repair relationships and also for healings. The name Valentine (meaning worthy, strong and powerful) is very fitting to Saint Valentine and all he represents. He was Martyred on February 14th, now his feast day February 14th . Why not make a christian pilgrimage to the Shrine of Saint Valentine in Whitefriar Street Carmelite Church . There lies a book next his remains where you can sign and write your prayer requests. God Bless.
DISCLAIMER: There is dispute over Saint Valentines date of birth. Some say 269AD, However others say 175AD as I stated in this video. It is more possible to be 269AD.
