Understanding Comic Page Layout – [How to lay out a comic page]

Описание: This video covers some of the basics of comic page layout. We’ll run though several examples of different types of comic pages, each having a different purpose related to storytelling. I will be discussing some very basic principals and concepts of page layout and storytelling. Most of these concepts are pretty innate, but we don’t think about them. When you go to plan a page and storying, having an understanding of these concepts will better help you convey the proper information to the reader.

This may also help you get some page layout ideas and strategically plan where to place characters and word balloons. So we will be doing an analysis of some of my Spectre pages. I will discuss the concepts behind the layout in an informal way and talk about how they apply to each page to tell the story.
