5 years later… our hotel needs work again!

Описание: Five years ago, we bought a run-down mountain motel and turned it into The Rex, a small boutique hotel near Promised Land State Park. What started as a COVID project turned into a half-million-dollar-a-year hospitality business.

But after being away for a while, it’s time to come back and really look at the property again.

In this video, we walk the entire motel, look at what’s starting to age, and start planning the next phase of upgrades. From replacing old hot tubs and improving walkways to possibly converting our old storage barn into a spa and communal lodge, this renovation could completely change the guest experience.

The goal isn’t just fixing things — it’s figuring out how to push the property forward for the next 50 years.
