Officers kill one dog after pack attacks Taylorsville woman, leading to leg amputation

Описание: Officials were forced to shoot and kill a dog Tuesday after it attacked a woman, causing critical injuries which led to the amputation of her leg.

Officers with the Taylorsville Police Department said that they received a call from a 63-year-old woman at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 31, stating that she had been bitten and seriously injured by several of her son's pit bulls in the backyard of her home located near 4800 South and 2900 West.

Police said that the woman had called them on a mobile phone from her backyard where the mother and father dogs along with their five puppies were still going at her.

Upon arrival, law enforcement and paramedics analyzed the scene from the side of a neighbor's fence and could see that the woman was still being attacked.
