My first new target bow of the year has arrived for testing - the Prime Nexus 6.
I opened up the Nexus 6 on camera and talk about new features Prime has engineered into the bow and whatever else comes to mind.
I do think the Nexus 6 qualifies as a do-everything bow - hunting, target - whatever you want. It's got a 36-inch ATA, 6.5-inch brace height, and has an IBO rated speed of 331 feet per second. That's plenty of speed to be an effective hunting rig enough length and brace height to be a great choice for target archery.
I will set up the Nexus 6 with 60 pounds of draw weight and about 30 inches of draw length. I'll likely use the 30.5-inch draw length setting and move the stops in to shorten the DL and add more holding weight.
