We’re back on the Neuse River for attempt #3 in our hunt for trophy bull redfish, but this trip took a wild turn! Instead of the giant reds we were after, we ran straight into a massive bluefish blitz — something you don’t see too often in these inshore North Carolina waters. Birds diving, bait exploding, and rods bending nonstop — total chaos in the best way possible.
Even though the bull reds didn’t show this time, we couldn’t be more stoked with what we experienced. Days like this remind us why we keep chasing the wild.
