New footage of the Manchester airport incident shows the “wider context” of the police officer’s kick. It shows that "the victim of the kick from the police officer... behaved really reprehensibly in the lead up to the incident”, but this doesn’t “necessarily” have an impact on whether the officer acted “disproportionately”, says Lord Walney, independent government advisor on political violence.
