Jikei Group and Kyushu University Create Manga on the Life of Muhammad Yunus in Joint Research Project

Professor Yunus’s Social Business is a newly released manga that illustrates the life and achievements of Professor Muhammad Yunus, who is renowned for his work in microcredit and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006. This manga, now available at Tsuchiya Book Store, is a collaborative project between the Jikei Group of Colleges and the Yunus & Shiiki Social Business Research Center at Kyushu University. Its purpose is to educate young people about social business through Japanese manga.

Creators:

Kouzo Kaku: Oversaw planning and creation.
Toru Sugita: Manga artist.
Daisuke Hayakawa: Author.
Kyushu University: Provided detailed information on Yunus’s work.
