Henry, Sweet Henry OBC - 1. Overture/Academic Fugue (Chorus)

Описание: Opening number from the fabulous flawed gem musical "Henry, Sweet Henry" by Nunnally Johnson (from a novel by daughter Nora Johnson) directed by George Roy Hill, director of the original "The World Of Henry Orient" film adaption. Although it closed after only 80 performances, "Henry" boasted a tuneful score from Bob Merrill that deserves to be discovered again and I am delighted to be posting. Presented here is the Overture & opening number, with the Norton School Girls complaining of another school day in "Academic Fugue."

NOTE: Names for the opening lines come from the original script and conductor sheet music and refer to actresses from the original chorus.
