Labour MP Andrew Gwynne says Tier 3 coronavirus restrictions in Manchester would be "an indefinite period" of measures that he does not think will work.
Speaking to Ian Collins on talkRADIO, the MP for Denton and Reddish highlighted the importance of local control over test and trace and "that a more direct approach whereby the local public health officials can go deep into the neighbourhoods" would work better than a blanket approach across the city.
Terry Christian, Manchester-based radio & TV presenter also said that Boris Johnson and this Tory government, "his whole cabinet are completely and utterly inept and corrupt."
