The total cast final salute and finale and bows of Kandahar A Modern Soldier's Story.
Each cast member sings a phrase about coming home and hoping that they are well received. They volunteered so no blame is placed for their experiences, they just want to be appreciated and welcomed home. I know that the US and England have had way more casualties than Canada has just because of numbers of troops deployed. The portrait displayed at the end as the Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada remove their helmets was painted by Cambridge On artist Dave Sopha and is called "Portraits of Honour" and is a hand painted face portrait of every Canadian Soldier killed in Afghanistan. I would like to thank Dave and the cast , director Allan Hoch and all the fantastic musicians who donated their time to pay homage to all our veterans.
