Florida’s Tampa Bay area has some great nature get-aways like the Brooker Creek Nature Preserve in Pinellas County. It’s the largest single piece of undeveloped land in the county. The Preserve was created to protect fresh water supplies. It covers eight-thousand seven-hundred acres of forested wetlands, pine flatwoods, cypress swamps and oak hammocks. The Preserve has miles of trails offering fresh air, wildlife and tranquility. It’s located at 3940 Keystone Road in Tarpon Springs.
