I went to Lima, Ohio to the old train station area by the CSX and Chicago, Fort Wayne & Eastern Railroad crossings. 1960gambit and I got 2 CSX trains at the diamonds but we didn't get a CF&E train. The last time I was here I did get one so you should check out that video. Notice the last car on the first train. It is a brand new gondola car with new paint and with no graffiti! It was built in May of 2023. Have you ever seen a car without graffiti? When the second train was coming a car went around the gates. I made a shorts video of that and you can see it better in that video since it is magnified a little. The locomotive pulling it is a Sponge Bob Square Cab Geep. Since it was very slow here we moved on to Deshler, Ohio to catch some trains.
The next two trains are from Deshler. The old train station by the diamonds was torn down since my last visit. The first train is a fast intermodal heading westbound. It has a couple of BNSF locomotives leading it. Notice the guy in the background while I am filming. He is travelling in a truck with a camper on it. He came all the way from New Hampshire and he is on his way to southern Indiana. His camper comes complete with an air conditioner.
The last train is another CSX westbound intermodal. Look how long they make these trains! Most of the trains in Deshler are intermodal trains. Luckily, I caught some other trains including a coke train, a steel slabs train and a mixed freight with the 911 locomotive shoving the rear. Look for those awesome videos out soon!
