Funded by UK aid from the UK government, Shule Bora will invest in education until 2027 in partnership with the Government of Tanzania and international non-Governmental organizations. The programme aims to address some of the greatest challenges facing Learning, Teaching, Inclusion and Systems all in running, managing basic education in Tanzania.
while working with national government, Shule Bora will develop targeted, innovative activities to test, adapt and implement at scale quality, gender-transformative, disability-inclusive, and safe to learn education approaches. It will improve teaching and learning for 4 million children, half of whom are girls in nine regions agreed with the Government of Tanzania, these are Dodoma, Katavi, Kigoma, Mara, Pwani, Rukwa, Simiyu, Singida, and Tanga. Carefully monitored for impact, the most successful activities can be adopted across all primary schools in Tanzania
