The US has closed its embassy in Kyiv and is “temporarily relocating” operations to the western city of Lviv. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the decision was made "due to the dramatic acceleration in the buildup of Russian forces". US officials have also called on American citizens to leave Ukraine immediately, warning of a Russian invasion. With this move the US joined Canada and Australia in shifting their embassies to Lviv.
