This video shows the repair of a typical damage of a conveyor belt with the patented vulcanizing material Multiface® in black color at -2°C with all steps.
Multiface® generally achieves a very good adhesion to rubber, without any preparation with any solvents and adhesion promoters, due to the same chemical cross-linking as in hot vulcanization. Therefore, the job can be carried out in all weather conditions, in direct sunlight or below the dew point, or drizzle or rainfall or snowfall. In most of the cases, the belt is ready for use after less than 30 minutes at +23°C / 73°F, or less, even at temperatures below 0°C / 32°F, by using a heat gun.
