Second plea deal in Amsterdam teen murders

MONTGOMERY COUNTY -- It started as a case of two missing boys in Amsterdam last summer and ended with a gruesome discovery near the town of Florida. Police found Paul Danphier and Jonathan DeJesus bodies in a wooded area last July. Tuesday, one of the two teens accused admitted his role in the crime. Anthony Brasmeister was escorted into the Montgomery County Court.
I feel it should have went to trial and we should have gotten some answers, said Nicole Damphier, victims sister.
Nicole Damphier's brother paul was killed last year.
My brother trusted him, my brother thought that was his friend, said Damphier.
Brasmeister was the second defendant to plead guilty on two counts of second degree murder in the deaths of Paul damphiers and Johnathan DeJesus. Matthew Plelps plead guilty to second degree murder in a plea deal, about two weeks ago. One of the victim's mother pledged she will do her part to keep the duo behind bars.
I'll fight forever, that they don't get out forever. If I am allowed at every parole hearing I will make sure the world knows Jonathan DeJesus, said Bridget Masesie, victim's mother.
Families of both victims' agree Brasmeister and Phelps will be allowed to things in their lives, after their sentences that their children will never be able to do.
The took the ability for him to have a family, for him to grow old, said Masesie.
