Norcati (Norton - Ducati) 750SS

Описание: Here is something very unusual. It is a NorCati 750SS which comprises of a 1958 Norton 88 Dominator rolling chassis fitted with a 1990's Ducati 750SS engine and correctly registered in the V5c with that engine number. Electric starter naturally. Engine converted to right foot gear change as the last owner/builder who is a very long standing customer of ours and is very much a British bike man. He is a retired steam engine engineer & is now well into his 80's hence the sale as he is hanging up his boots. He has owned the rolling chassis since 2013 but converted it to take the Ducati engine in 2015. It starts very easily on the button It runs and rides extremely well and is a lot of fun. It really doesn't feel like a 'special' to ride as it rides so well and feels sorted. Everything works including the carb de-icers. Borrani flanged alloy rims, TLS front brake. No show winner as it has been very well used but a cracking bike. It is featured in & on the cover of the May 2025 issue of Real Classics magazine.
