Repair Jacuzzi on off button fix air switch not working on hot tub jet, the truth, replace pneumatic

Описание: Jacuzzi Repair. How I fixed my on/off pneumatic air switch button by replacing the bellow on my jetted tub. Over time I started to notice that I had to push the on/off button more times and push it deeper and deeper to start the jets.

If your problem is only the "bellow" (the thing under the button which you push to start the jets) and not the air line, pump, motor or air switch on the motor/pump... then this video could help.

I do not make a video about everything I do...
I am usually just simply fixing something... that is how this started out.

I do not post every video I make but I do fix a lot of my own things which need repaired and sometimes while I am in mid-project I realize that a HOW TO video should probably be made (I could have used one on this repair) to share what I am doing and learning.

When I start recording mid project I do my best catch up the viewer. When I am done, if the jobs turns out well, and the video turns out OK and the video can be edited to make sense and maybe help someone...then I will post it.

It took a lot of time to edit because I cussed and complained at Jacuzzi corporation quite a bit and I had to cut that out to not sound too grumpy... . and I tried some ideas (which did not work out) that I had included in the original edited video... but I had I edit them out too because they did not further he plot or progress the story.

If you notice I repeat some things in this video it means I think they are important and worth repeating.

I may make a "DELETED SCENES" video to show some of the things I tried for this repair.

Replacing this simple off/on switch should NOT BE THIS TRICKY!! OR THIS EXPENSIVE!!! $20.00-$50.00 for a small rubber bellow??? $15.00-$30.00 for the small plastic air control knobs??? $15.00-$30 for the tiny thin plastic graphic rings??? What in the world?? None of these 3 parts can cost more than 20 cents to make if one makes a 1000-5000 of them. I am tempted to go into to business selling just these 3 parts made in mass production and price them for for $2.00-$3.00 each!! (but I am probably just ranting ) :D

But seriously... Jacuzzi knows the critical on/off button/bellow will fail and Jacuzzi should have made the part easy to access and replace. It should simply unscrew (or something) without having to pull off corroded air control knobs or remove the caulked on 3 hole panel. Jacuzzi made it way too easy to break off the air control stems off while removing the parts to access the bellow button part.

But maybe that is what Jacuzzi had in mind when they built it like this, maybe Jacuzzi intended us to break the parts and have to buy new ones!!

Ok Ok.... there I go complaining about Jacuzzi and sounding grumpy again... but I am not very happy with Jacuzzi... and my repair went fine, but I know darn well it could have been a disaster.

When I started I had no idea why the on/off was failing or what I needed to do to make it work again. Thank goodness for the vague ideas hints clues I found online so I could fumble around and luckily fix it right without making a bigger mess.

I braced myself before doing this repair knowing I could mess it up and have just a regular bathtub (no jets) or have to pay a repairman 2 Billion Dollars to come out and fix it.

But I was careful... and thankfully I lucked out and completed the task without a disaster and only spending $50.00 on parts... ONLY $50.00!?!?!?!! For 3 tiny parts??? That is ridiculous!

I skipped spending another $30.00-50.00 for 3 new graphics rings... I just put the broken ones back on and they look fine to me.
