STEM Ready is a STEM Tinkering Project initiated at Smt. Indrani Balan Science Activity Centre, IISER Pune and is funded by Tata Technologies under its CSR Initiative. The goal of this project is to provide a conducive environment for teachers and students to encourage a tinkering mindset. As part of the project, a STEM Tinkering Experience Centre was set up on the IISER campus, designed to provide a unique learning experience to students and teachers alike. The center has many experiments that can be created with readily available low-cost materials to a wider reach. Participating teachers and students will be able to explore these activities in this dedicated STEM Tinkering space. Under this project, workshops are being conducted with students and teachers to explore STEM tinkering activities related to the school curriculum.
