Join me on the PR18 Levada do Rei, one of the most beautiful levada walks in Madeira 🌿. This 10.6 km round trip (about 3.5 hours) takes you through lush Laurissilva forest, waterfalls, and peaceful tunnels of green until reaching the stunning Ribeiro Bonito natural sanctuary.
Starting in São Jorge, this levada is a moderate hike but full of rewards! Endless greenery, birdsong, and the unique atmosphere that makes Madeira’s levadas so special. Filmed early in the morning with no crowds, just nature at its best.
