What a day! Well we had some success with the first X-8 maiden flight. First flight went ok, Stabilize didn't seem to work correctly. leveled plane but was unresponsive to control inputs. Also had some Rx failsafe issues probably due to all the equipment mounted on the plane. Hopefully LRS system will take care of that. After finding out that our ground camera operator didn't press the record button, we decided to make a second flight. Unfortunately the wind started to pick up and the plane was too hard to hold with one hand so we decided that my assistant would steady the plane while I was at the controls. The video tells the rest of the story.
