President Museveni Meets President El-Sisi: Uganda–Egypt Business Forum 2025

Speaking at the Uganda–Egypt Business Forum in Cairo alongside his host, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President Museveni emphasized the need to strengthen trade and investment ties between the two nations. The event attracted over 200 participants under the theme “Strengthening Trade and Investment Cooperation between Uganda and Egypt.”

President Museveni highlighted Uganda’s rapid economic progress into the low middle-income bracket, abundant natural resources, fertile soils, fresh water, minerals, and a growing labour force projected to reach 106 million in the next 25 years. He called for Egyptian capital and entrepreneurship to unlock this potential, stressing that production must be matched with market access.
