बुधवारी बेलगावात पत्रकार परिषदेत बोलताना त्यांनी सांगितले की, खानापूर पोलिसांनी शांतता बैठकीसाठी रौडी शीटरला बोलावल्याचे लक्षात आले आहे. याबाबत संबंधित पोलिस अधिकाऱ्यांची चौकशी केली जाईल.

त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले की, कोणाचाही रौडी शीटरशी संबंध नाही. काही स्थानिकांनी त्याच्याबद्दल माहिती दिली होती. त्याला इशारा देण्यासाठी कदाचित बोलावले असावे.
District Superintendent of Police K. Ramarajan stated that an inquiry will be conducted regarding the involvement of a rowdy-sheeter in the Ambedkar Jayanti peace meeting held in Khanapur taluk.

Speaking at a press conference in Belagavi on Wednesday, he said that it has come to notice that Khanapur police had called a rowdy-sheeter to the peace meeting. The concerned police officers will be questioned in this regard.

He clarified that no one has any connection with the rowdy-sheeter. Some locals had provided information about him, and perhaps he was invited to warn him.
