Winter cod fishing from North Berwick, Scotland, out around Craigleith Island in our small inflatable boat (SIB). Freezing cold, rough seas — perfect cod conditions.
We were lure fishing with Sabiki rigs and metal jigs, hoping for a few bites, and ended up into cod, pollock, and plenty of small coalfish. Proper winter fishing from a SIB — no fancy gear, no drama, just real fishing in Scottish waters.
