Day 2 and there are lots of options for food, resupplies and water refills. If you are heading into Drymen at the start of your day you will miss a short section of the Way. Once in the village centre head along the road past the Spar and Hotel and you'll soon find yourself back on track.
The year before this I had opted to finish Day 2 with a wild camp on the high road just beyond Rowardennan. This occasion I decided to go low. There are a number of good wild camping spots on this route. However, we arrived later in the day and struggled to find a spot that wasn't already occupied. We had never intended to walk as far as we did. If you're wild camping on the low route, my advice would be get there early to bag your spot for the night.
