Hannah brings in their new recruit to Sal Parlos orbital station. Tiana, the cyborg girl that Eve had freed from the Syndicate, now consigned to Noora's workshop. Eve arrives later and regroups with Hannah. They were just discussing their last Sputnik mission and Tiana's progress when Hannah recieves a call. A bounty mission.

"Some Cyborg Vamp" she says and leaves while Eve takes sometimes off to do what she did best in her liesure times. Drink and dance! Jawbreaker approaches her, apologizing fo past errands. They had an argument but Eve finally shows soft corner. Then Mario calls. Something's happened to Hannah.

Eve rushes to hospital Jawbreaker joins her, Hannah is undergoing bio-scans. Her arm broken, cybernetic endoskeleton lying bare. Eve vows to take revenge from whoever did this. Jawbreaker, being a dealer knew some details that he shares with Eve, than Hannah gains consciousness to finally reveal the villain's name... "they call him Night Runner."

Hannah tried stopping him, but he's got teleportation tech. Portals. Now it's up to Eve.

Eve faces him, tries to capture him multiple times, but she's powerless against his teleportation maneuvres. Suddenly, Tiana comes to Eve's mind. Tiana, had studied time portals before. She was willing to do anything for her saviours. (Now the thing is using teleportation is forbidden, universally) so Tiana tells Eve theoretically it might be possible to track the portals and follow Night Runner into them.

After more failures, Eve returns to Tiana. The tracker is ready. (but she must hurry, she's only got 15-sec window before portals close and trace disappears. That's enough for Eve.) This time, Night Runner has nowhere to run. Eve finally gets him and and breaks his wrist interface. No more teleportation.

Night Runner bargains with Eve. Spare his life and he'll tell her whereabouts of the labs Eve's been looking for decades. Eve takes the offer but puts him in a box and throws him deep under the ocean where so he couldn't harm more innocent. Not for at least a thousand years.
