If you ever wanted to make something easy to fish with, and doesn't cost a lot of money, here is one of many projects that can be done "on the cheap" and isn't very difficult.
I'll take you step by step how I made these, there are other methods for sure, that you can do and use.
I hope this gives you ideas of what else that can be made.
