Описание: Al Noor Island is an island within the heart of the city of Sharjah.
Opened on December 2015.If you are a nature lover then this place is
good for you. The best time to visit this place is winter time . You will
enjoy the nature sound and the tranquility of the place. Aside from the nature vibes of Al noor island,
you will be amazed with the beautiful art & architecture specially the Butterfly House.

The Butterfly House is the Island’s primary attraction with 20 exotic species of butterflies. If you feel
the humidity inside the butterfly house it is because they want to give safe refuge for butterflies as mostly
of them came from in Tropical Countries like Philippines, Southeast Asia, Central & South America and many more.


Be amazed with the Art & Scultupres installed and scattered in the island.
Torus by David Harber - This 240 cm, shiny mirror-polished sculpture distorts its surrounding in reflection.
My son really enjoy this as much as we enjoy filming a video of him.

FOSSIL ROCKS- As you explore the Island you will see three large fossil rocks:
Rock Crystal, Amethyst and Stone Tree.
This is a mind blowing as I am really shocked how big and old these fossils.

Steel Sculpture by Edgar Tezak AND ACT Lighting Design and OVO Art Installation
I think this is one of the most beautiful art installations I've
ever seen in my life. The impressive steel plate with floral perforations is mind blowing .
I want to visit night time to see the LED lighting and water to create a stunning visual.


Columns by Susanne Schmögner - This colorful painted columns installed in various location in an island.
This is the favorite structure of my son.

Even the park benches of Al Noor Island are pieces of art.

Since the Island is too huge, we feel the tiredness of walking and we just want to feel the serenity of the island.
So we decided to rest in the LITERATURE PAVILION.


Your children will surely enjoy the playground with the tricky rope to navigate.

As you explore the island, it feels that you are connecting to nature as it is the home to over 70,000 trees and plants.
Next time , I will visit in the night to witness the gleaming meadows and watch the glowing flowerbed of 1200
fiber-glass blossoms change color in a synchronized manner.
A magnificent combination of nature and technology.
