The 1975 model received a revised grill and taillight trim and the Caprice Classic Convertible was the flagship of the line. The Arab Oil Embargo brought about many changes to American automobiles in the mid 1970’s and Chevrolet introduced an “Econominder” gauge that allowed drivers to see how their driving habits affected their overall fuel economy. This Caprice Classic is a true survivor having traveled less than 21,000 miles since new. This car has been pampered since new and has had all maintenance items brought current making this a vehicle that is ready to hit the road. When you hear "Cream Puff" this is the type of car you would picture. This Classic Convertible has had a recent top installed with glass rear window and newer whitewall tires on the beautiful wire wheels. For additional cruising pleasure this car has had a brand new Kenwood Stereo system with new speakers. Powering up this Dark Green Metallic dream boat is the original 400 Cubic inch small block V8 producing 175 horsepower and is mated to a Turbo Hydramatic Transmission that shifts great. The steering and suspension on this car are nice and tight and a true testament to the low original miles. The brakes stop very evenly and all power options work as they should. The brown tweed cloth seats and carpeting appear as new as does the dash pad and door panels.
