Описание: After a few days in her new home, Gladys started showing signs of being eggbound. The retailer who sold her to me had lied to me about her condition, by the time she showed signs of being seriously ill I'd already bonded with my new companion. I took her straight to the vets, I couldn't bear to have her put to sleep, so I agreed for her to have a procedure to remover her oviduct, it was expensive and not without it's risks, but without it she would have died within days. The operation was a huge success! To the vet surgeon's shock and mine, they discovered she had TEN eggs stuck inside her! I don't know how she managed to survive, but I'm pleased to say Gladys is now recovering at home, her final day of medication is tomorrow and she's doing very well; thank you Aidan!
