Why the Steins;Gate Movie is "Canon"

In the past decade, countless English-speaking Steins;Gate anime onlies have mistakenly believed the Steins;Gate movie to be non-canon and unimportant to the franchise. But with recent localizations of wider SciADV series content, the fandom's understanding of the movie has changed drastically.

On Youtube, most content on the Steins;Gate movie is heavily outdated and made by anime onlies who lack full series context. In this video, I seek to explain why the movie can be considered canon (for the lack of a better term). The first half of this video is good for Steins;Gate onlies. The second half involves full SciADV series spoilers.
