With the World update 15 Nordics & Greenland, Microsoft provided us with a beautifully reworked landscape and several handmade airports in Norway, Sweden and Finland.

There are a lot of payware airports in Northern Europe, but with a little searching you can find fantastic free airports in flightsim.to with an almost identical level of detail.
In today's little video I would like to introduce you to the best freeware airports in Northern Europe. (Links to download below in Video description)

We start in Norway and head to the city of Tromsø, often referred to as the "Paris of the North", located over 400 km north of the Arctic Circle.
Come to Tromsø to see the Northern Light, experience whale safaris or go ski-touring in the sensationally beautiful Lyngen Alps. The Lyngen peninsula, with its 1,833m high peaks, blue glaciers, hushing glacial rivers and deep ravines, is one of Norway’s most dramatic landscapes.

For the next scenery we stay in Norway and go to the largest airport there.
Oslo Airport is the international airport of the city of Oslo.
It is used for civil and military purposes. The Royal Norwegian Air Force uses it under the name Gardermoen flystasjon as a base for transport aircraft, among other things.

In the next scenery we go to one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
The Faroe or Faeroe Islands are an archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean and an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark.
The terrain is rugged and the subpolar oceanic climate is windy, wet, cloudy and cool.
Due to their northern latitude and proximity to the Arctic Circle, the islands experience constant twilight on summer nights and very short days in winter.

Vágar Airport is the only airport in the Faroe Islands and, as a commercial airport, is one of the gateways to the outside world alongside the international ferry service with Norröna.
It is located on the western island of Vágar and is home to the Faroese airline Atlantic Airways.

Ålesund Vigra is an airport located in Norway on the west coast of Sunnmøre.
The airport is on an island, Vigra, with strong winds blowing in from the Atlantic Ocean.
The runway has a distinct runway profile. The airport has domestic flights as well as direct international flights to Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands and Poland.

Kittilä Airport is a Finnish airport located in Kittilä inside the Arctic Circle. It handles general aviation and mostly seasonal international traffic and is one of the main airports in Northern Finland
