Описание: This is an experimental piece I made last year. It is 8” tall by 7 " in diameter not including the orchids. I made this using traditional Japanese silversmithing techniques. The surface is wave hammered, an extremely difficult and time consuming process. The orchids are hand forged from sterling silver. The patina is a modified rokusho finish. The goal was to make the vase appear dull and earthy almost organic and for the orchids to seem as if they are illuminated by moonlight.
