In this detailed build video, I design, 3D print, and install a custom overhead console to mount an ABBREE AR-8118 25W dual-band VHF/UHF mini mobile radio in my 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. Perfect for off-road, ham radio, GMRS, or overlanding setups – clean, factory-like integration without drilling or permanent modifications!
This compact yet powerful radio features 240 channels, long-range communication (up to 25-30W output), HD voice clarity, dual PTT, VOX, and more – and now it's neatly mounted right above the driver for easy access.
