M&M's The Lost Formulas (2000, PC) - Level 5: Stampin' and Sortin'

Описание: In the 5th level of this game, Yellow needs to move onto the moving belts and parkour your way to the end of the level. In the Math Zone, you can give Yellow a tiny burst of speed, using the same button you use in the driving levels. This can help Yellow avoid being crushed by the big stampers. In the Math Zone, you will find that you need to make early decisions about which door to choose. Wait too long and Yellow may forced into a door that you do not want. After finishing this level, you can get to bonus level: Track Trouble.

In M&Ms: The Lost Formulas, the 2 lead candies are about to set off on a vacation until the red candy realizes that the yellow candy left the M&Ms Minis in charge of the candy factory. The Minis promptly steal the secret M&Ms formulas and cause havoc at the factory. It is up to the yellow candy to set the situation right.

Hitting the M&M boxes will rack up points. Once the amount of points hits 99, you get an extra life.
The gameplay has been described as being similar to the Crash Bandicoot series. The action in the game takes place over 8 levels. The first 7 levels involve some kind of math skill. The first level depicts the yellow candy frantically driving back to the candy factory.

Another type of level has the yellow candy jumping from number platform to number platform according to the math formulas that a disembodied female voice calls out. Another type of level is a 3D running/jumping action level in which the yellow candy will run down a hallway while observing clues about math formulas along the way. At the end of the hallway will be 3 doors, each with a possible answer. Choose wisely.

All along the way are M&Ms candies to be collected in large quantities. Every 100 M&Ms candies earns the player an extra life.


M&M's: The Lost Formulas is an M&M's video game and was released on September 28, 2000 for computers such as Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows XP, and Macintosh by Simon & Schuster Interactive. It is the first M&M's games that was released. It is a Crash Bandicoot style game, and also is optionally a game which teaches math.

The game was played using DgVoodoo emulating a 3dfx card. This is seemingly one of the only ways I could lock the game at 60 FPS while keeping the game in windowed mode and also making sure that Bandicam won't stop recording everytime a cutscene is loaded. The game requires a no-CD file to play without a physical CD. It is included with my download at the download link below. You need to copy and paste that file over the already existing file in the folder: C:\Program Files\M&Ms The Lost Formulas.
