The 2022 Super Treasure Hunt set has premium vehicles with Spectraflame paint, Real Rider wheels, and a “TH” graphic. They are upgraded versions of cars within other series. The packaging will not reveal that a car is a Treasure Hunt.

Volkswagen Kafer Racer
HCY09 is part of the 2022 Super Treasure Hunt set, 142/250 in the mainline set, and 5/5 in the HW Contoured series. It is Spectraflame red enhanced with white and gold stripes and checkered graphics.

“44” and the VW logo are on the sides and “TH” can be found on the roof. The rear wing is decorated with the Hot Wheels logo and “Jones Race Products”.

Features include tinted windows, a black interior, and a gold plastic Malaysia base. The Real Rider wheels have gold 4-spoke rims.

This vehicle can be found in mix “G” of 2022 Hot Wheels mainline cases.

The Volkswagen Kafer Racer made its debut in the 2017 HW Speed Graphics series. It is an original design of a radically modified and stretched VW Beetle.
