On the twenty-eighth episode we have Kip Kong, Kip lives the life of a super hero. He considers himself to be someone who people can look up to, someone who doesn’t care about what others think, someone who has nerves of steel and finally someone who can aspire/be a role model. Kip stands for ‘Keep It Positive’. Kip low-key does the most, firstly he is a dancer specialising in hip-hop and performs with Legion Dance Company all over Australia. Secondly, he has ventured into event management running hip-hop shows at local night clubs called ‘Flexhibition’ with his homie Chief Boogie. Lastly, he is a leader of a group of super heroes called ‘Bay City’. When Kip is not trying to save the world he also works as a dance teacher, where his goal is to teach young people how to believe in themselves through establishing loyalty, diligence and confidence.

Kip takes us on his journey of realising his super powers; Kip explains the meaning behind his name ‘Keep It Positive’, he breaks down the keys of becoming a super hero, runs us through Flexhibition and what the movement is about, kip tells us about his passion of motivational speaking and teaching the youth, the difficulties of dealing with shame, the importance of reciprocated respect, why it is important to empty your basket so you can learn new information, the hustle of failing until you win and why getting rid of all insecurities is the key to becoming your own version of a superhero.

The purpose of dkOG is to celebrate other people’s kinds of genius in a positive way.
