The jury is supported by information collated and fact-checked by EY and is based on three years of data from Reserve Bank of India. In addition to financial metrics, other parameters such corporate governance and are also taken into consideration. Apart from awards for the leaders in the various sectors, the jury also selects the country’s best digital lenders and the best banking products. For 2022-2023, the jury was headed by S Ramadorai, former VC, Tata Consultancy Services, Dinesh Khara, Former Chairman, State Bank of India, Pradip Shah, Chairman IndAsia Fund Advisors, Amit Chandra, Chairperson Bain Capital and Sharad Sharma, Founder I Spirt.
