Описание: Hello! It's Dr. Kiran, and I want to start by saying thank you for stopping by on my YT channel!

I am an NHS paediatric doctor specialising in baby, child, and adolescent health. I have worked across many London Hospitals and tried to use my own experience as a mother to three children to work in harmony with my patients and their families. I love afternoon tea, long brunches, walking, and weight based training. I am an avid foodie and my favourite foods are from different parts of Asia!

I created my educational platform on Instagram to provide easy, evidence-based, Tips and Tricks to help parents on the most important journey of their lives. I’ve built a beautiful community, and I really enjoy engaging with them. I’d like to be able to do longer, more informative videos, and this is why my youtube journey is starting!

I am a passionate advocate for child health and particularly health promotion in BAEM communities. People will say we are hard to reach, but the reality is that there are systems in place to ensure we are ‘hardly reached. I am a proud British South Asian Muslim woman, and I love supporting women and girls from all walks and backgrounds to pursue higher education and leadership roles. I try to use my Instgram page and wider network to talk about key issues relating to womens and child health.

As a mother, I wholehewretedly understand the challenges faced by parents of all backgrounds, in particular BAEM parents, who are often under-represented in healthcare. My goal here is to share my knowledge base by providing tips and medical advice in an empathetic and non-judgmental ways well as bridging the gap between healthcare professionals and parents. My Instagram account has a wealth of information for parents, and I regularly host child health Q&As to empower parents to understand their childs health better! I hope to bring ALL OF THAT AND MORE to this space.
