Описание: This is the only surviving solo keyboard work by the late renaissance Italian composer Carlo Gesualdo. He's known for his 6 books of magridals (and killing his wife for cheating on him), which explores some quite distant and chromatic harmonies. I thought that this was a very interesting piece and is rarely recorded, esspecially for the piano, so I decided to give it a go. Music from the renaissance is very unique and unlike most music we are used to, so it is a shame that it is not as recognised as other musical periods such as the Barouqe.
