In this video I show you how to find eggs reliably, what they look like at different ages and how to use light and frame angles so you can see them clearly every time. You will learn how to confirm whether your queen is laying without needing to find her.

I explain why eggs can be difficult to see when colonies are building fast, when comb is dark, when nectar fills the cells or when the light is poor. You will learn how to rotate the frame correctly, how to judge the depth of the cell, how to use sunlight or a torch to illuminate the base and how to distinguish eggs from reflections and debris.
