Описание: Video recorded live during the April 8 2024 total solar eclipse in Mexico, showing the 30 seconds leading up to C3 (third contact).

You can hear the live announcements from The Phographer's Ephemeris iPhone app giving a 30s, 15s, and 3..2..1 countdown to C3. The audio is as recorded on a separate iPhone on the day. The screen recording was made later and has been synchronized with the video.

After third contact, you'll see a still photograph taken at C3 +4 seconds, then a screenshot of the simulation of the same moment from TPE, followed by the detailed Baily's Beads and lunar limb view, showing the same bead pattern observed on the day.
