Is mountain biking awesome? Yes. Yes it is. Do mountain bike upgrades make it more awesome-r?? Well… yes but, it’s not that simple.
I’ve been mountain biking for almost 20 years and I’ve learned that not all MTB upgrades are created equal. There are some upgrades that make more of a difference than others. There are many small upgrades that are noticeable in comfort and ridability. But then there are some big upgrades that can literally make or break your MTB experience and rate of progression.
These 3 upgrades are in the order that I believe you should go in. They also progress in $$$. I honestly think that if more mountain bikers upgraded their bikes with these 3 things in this order, we would have a massive spike in riders and their overall skill level would skyrocket.
