Since I finally decided to recorded Wii U footage for Mario Kart 64, I figured I should do the same for Super Mario 64. Again this was recorded with composite, so the video quality won't look the best it could be.
This is what it would look like with different settings on my capture card.
• Super Mario 64 Wii U VC
So just like on Wii, the game is desaturated. The invincibility effect is fixed and Chain Chomp's mouth color is fixed. Input lag is more apparent in this version. (I found using the Gamepad off screen caused the least amount of problems for me). The framerate doesn't drop in places the N64 version would. The line when using the cannon in the Wii VC version is fixed. (I should also note that in the intro, a white line is visible in the Wii VC version when looking at recorded footage. Although neither of these are noticeable while playing due to overscan on TVs).
